yeah, you are probably right. we usually jump the rotators outta bragg. we sit on the flip down webbing seats during takeoff and then climb on the cargo to stretch out and sleep the rest of the way. Last time i got "little spooned" by the fattest longtabber ive ever seen. not cool.

LMAO we did the same thing...except I never got spooned.
You know the pissers they have on the 130s...its basically a funnel and you stand on a platform. We landed...I had to go...so I'm doing my thing...all of a sudden the pilot guns it, then slams on the brakes...I pissed all over my self. Crew chief about fell off his perch laughing so hard. haha

still active and nine mo years until i retire and start a new career!
"Hello, welcome to Wal-Mart"
really though, i plan on either going into business for myself or going into law enforcement. i could make over 100K a year doing what i do now, but i hate my career field to much to stay doin the same ish.

damn that is funny!!!!!! my favorite thing used to be watching people that have never deployed, who are on their first in-theatre 130 flight and have never done a combat landing... the looks of shear horror on grown mens faces is priceless. ahhh the memories. im actually pretty upset i missed this last deployment, but apparently having invasive shoulder surgery days after having a hernia repaired means i cant carry my combat equipent... whatever.
good deal on the trooper position! i know how competitive the field has become. Im hoping that after i retire i can get on with the Seattle PD. they have a NICE payscale.
