As much as I love the Cummins motor, I Love my Allison trans.

You can build a non Allison tranny that will be Just as tough if not tougher.

I love the shifting of the allison. It is the smartest transmission.... It knows what to do and right when to do it. Plus it's tough, and shift points are even.
