Installing lift
I'll be putting on my 5" lift this weekend. It comes with coils and rear blocks.
I've done lifts before...but never on a 2500 SFA. Just looking for some tips... it seems pretty straight forward, just didn't know if I'm gonna run into any problems. I've already been soaking the bolts and nuts in PB Blaster.lol |
Only quick tip I know of is for realigning the track bar. Once you got all your new stuff under the front end just bolt on side up & you can start the truck and use the power steering to line the other hole up..

I used a ratchet strap to line the track bar up with the bolt location. Worked good for pulling the axle over easy. Everything else is pretty easy.

Damn...didn't know the trac bar would be the tough part. Good info tho...thanks guys.

Good luck man! We are expecting pics!

I'll have tons of pics...wheels and tires will be on Monday morning. :D
|
Nice! Cant wait to see it!

After installing the lift I found only one thing was a *****...the upper control arm bolt, passanger side fram bolt.
I had to remove my entire exhaust to get just that 1 bolt out. It was a PITA. The trac bar was the easy part haha |
