Oh the pictures will be put up for sure! I just made some cool mounts for my dual sport bike I will post up. I bought those Kolpin 1.5 gal fuel cans and mounted them on my bike for my long road trips. Turned out good. Just got it done today. Next is the headache rack since I have some extra cash for the metal.

Id like to see your headache rack when its done. Ive been planning mine in my head and I cant decide How I want to do it.

Please take no offense to this because I think it would be nice just gonna be hard to do IMO sounds like trying to put 100lbs of $h!t in a 50lb bag but I hope you can do it because it will definitely be cool

I was thinking about using 3 inch square tubing, following the angle of the cab, putting "45's" (cutting 2 "22.5" degree agles, im not sure what the actual angle will be without dry fitting it. I was thinking make it about an inch taller than the cab with posts on either side for lumber/ladders. Then 2 uprights welded evenly in the middle, probably right in front of the seams for the slider. I may leave it empty, or do some expanded metal, or something else. I cant decide. Id like to follow a protech as closely as possible except it will be square tubing instead of the corners being beveled.
Talking about it is easier than executing it ha ha. Luckily my buddy used to be a fabricator for a door milling company, he used to fab up frames, tables, binding tables, all kinds of things. He said hed give me a hand. I have my own welder, but I work with wood, and wood has tolerances, metal does not and I have a tough time with that.

Yea wood is more forgiving. With metal I just measure and check over and over and do alot of tack welding to make sure. The frame turned out awesome. Perfectly square. I even drilled two holes in it to hide my tail light, back up, and work lights for the clean look.
