Im considering doing a tour of the southern states this summer... all this talk on the other forum I was on of guys carrying concealed hand guns makes me a little leary to do so tho...they made it sound like everyone is always carrying a gun, I dont like the idea of a place that isnt safe unless you have a gun....

Ya it seems like people are pretty friendly down there too from what ive seen of tourists up here, I'd avoid the big cities i think, maybe do a tour of all the bbq's I always see on tv!

East TN mountains is a must see. You cant beat the culture of Nashvile. And Memphis has some good things. Colored folk have kinda ruined it tho if you know what I mean :jester:
