classic 7.3 turbo surge

Yup mine does it, just curious as to what all my options are, rebuild, upgrade rebuild, totally new turbo and I've also heard a 6.0 stock turbo is an option. What do you guys know? Easiest on the pocket book for now is my best option

i wanna say that someone told me that you can fix it with the compressor wheel off another ford turbo diesel. i just cant remember if it's the old pre powerstroke or if it's one of the powerstrokes..sorry i know this probably just made you more confused lol
