I was concerned about this as well (with a Dodge)

So I backed under my neighbors gooseneck that was set up for his stock Ford...lowere it down onto the 2x4 in my bed. And everything cleared the the deck was still fairly level.

I dont think its too much of a problem. goosenecks have quite a bit of clearance, may have to adjust the coupler length some which is easy enough.

Only thing I would watch on a fifth wheel would be clearance to the bedrail. You can lower the 5th wheel plate some to help with level on the trailer, but that will close the gap on bedrail clearance. Normal higway towing wouldnt be a problem, mostly just on unlevel ground, trailer migjt lean enough to touch top of rails.. Then either rail or underside of rv will give way.....I know from my buddies experiance!
But if you know its posible...just keep an eye on it!

If all else fails lift the trailer to match the truck.

On high arches in roads you can have problems with the trailer hitting the top of the bed Mir is bent a little from a horse trailer hitting when I pulled out of a road with a high arch I'm not really lifted just leveled on 36's

I'll probably work on it sometime in the next few weeks. Right now i'm trying to change a wheel bearing on a Chevrolet equinox. I'm starting to hate the car.
