What is your personal prefence and why if there is a reason. i personaly like the looks of 20's but my wallet likes 18's better

17's they're big enough for bigger brakes and still allows plenty of rubber to be wrapped around it, plus 17's are pretty much the smallest that the companies with nice rims go. i'm also not a big fan on big rims either though

20's all the way. Big enough to look great, and still has plenty of rubber. But yes...they come with a $tag!

I've had 20's with 37's I've had 18's with 37's and 35's I've had 17's with 33's and 35's I've had 16's with 33's and 35's and 15's and 33's and 35's :jester:

Personally I don't want anything bigger than 18" wheels. I like more tire and less wheel. To me 17's with 35's is a perfect combo :alone:

17s for 35" tires or smaller. 20s for 37" tires or bigger... JMO

now i do like 10lug 19.5's on a 3rd gen dually wrapped with some heavy duty michelin or toyo semi rubber. of course this combo is strictly only for a towing/line road truck

I always views the trucks with the nice 20+ rims as being pavement queens, whereas i have always been of the mind that you are supposed to put your truck to the test. I prefer the look of an 18 over a 20, but I have seen alot of trucks with the bigger rims that look good. If i were to find a 20 that i actually liked, and could afford the rubber for it, i wouldnt be against going up. i like my rims though... so it would take a special rim for me to make a change.

20's all the way. Theyre pricey but look right with the tire imo.

my old 16's and 35's had too much sidewall

These days the 20s r not much higher than 17s etc so id go with 20s ..... Ive always wanted sum 20s ... Biggest thing ive had on a 4x4 was my 18" xd monsters.

If i were to buy sum rims now with me havn new tires id get sum moto metal 951s .... But next time ill prob go with 37s on 20s

You could always put some spinners on them too!

Here is something funny, I was out at my brother in laws wheel and tire shop he works at last friday....he tells me he made his biggest sale on a set of wheels and tires ever.

24" Nutek Wheels with Carbon Fiber barrel and lip....$16,800 for wheels and tires!!!

I guess when you can have an Audi R8 you can afford $17 grand for wheels??

Simliar to these ones -

Maybe its cause I dont have the money...but even if I did, I feel I would still have a really hard time spending that much on wheels and tires!

I almost spent 2200 on just toyo mt's but then went with my nitto trails instead for 1600.
I can see how wheels and toyos could be 3 grand!

I'm a 17s guy, I like the bigger tires on as small a rim as you can put on the truck. I haven't bought rims yet for my current truck, but I had an 05 Hemi that had the factory 20"s on it and I dropped them down to 17"s as soon as I could afford it
