4bt swap...maybe?

I got this turd car that I drive during the week for a gas saver. Its a 1993 Dodge Stealth. Nothing special...no twin turbos. No AWD...just a 5sp slowmobile.

If all goes well...I wont need a gas saver anymore bc I'll have a take home car.


So I'm left with a choice...either sell this car and get a turbo for my truck.

Or.

Swap a 4bt into it. I got the tools and know how to do it (with some help from some friends)

Would it be worth the hassel?

Not a bad little ride, I remember thinking those were soooo awesome when they came out!

I personally would sell the car and put the money into the truck. Swap would work, some money, and in the end you would have a stealth 4bt that you probably wouldn't get what you have invested in it.

Now a 4bt into a Jeep wrangler, or a compact truck- Nissan hardbody, ranger, s10 etc. Would be cool!

Right now my d21 Nissan sounds like it has a 4bt in it cause the lifters tick so much!

I was kinda thinking the same thing but wanted dome opinions. Yea it would be cool and one of a kind...but worth it? That was the question. lol

Yes...a 4bt in a wrangler would be sweet. I'd like to do that someday.

Ha I don't think I'll get that much out of it to buy turbos all around. lol I only paid $1000 for it... I bet i can get $1600 for it with all the work I've done to it to make it more road worthy

$1600 would make a nice start for cummins build parts!!!! Thats what I would do.
