Good price man! I got mine at schwab in a "need right now" situation. paid like 230 for them or something. sucks, I wanted red tops ha ha. didnt have thousands of dollars to spend on batteries.

I bought a yellow top and a blue top back in 2001,
the blue top died 3 years ago and the yellow top
finally died last year. They were only $120 each back then.

Red Top Optimas are the best Ive ever owned. I have a big stereo system in my truck, and the ALt went before the batteries. But it was just the sylenoid. I would get them if your running aftermarket products like stereo w/amps, and subs, or lights in or out of the truck.

Well i do have a stereo that i can put in as soon as I get a new in dash dvd player. My stock radio doesnt have the rca's to hook up my amps and subs damn it! When I bought my truck, someone had a system in it cause they ran rca's under the carpet and seats luckily.

Satellite batteries plus a capacitor, the way to go :waytogo:

Been looking at this system for the Alpine MRP-M1000
driving one SWX-1243D (both NIB) and a MRP-F250 driving 4
SPS-507's in The Ranger XLT supercab.
